Phase 1 is the Induction & Foundational Training stage of the programme. Phase 1 will run from January 12 to January 31, 2026.
The training will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining virtual sessions and in-person activities.
Phase 1 focuses on introducing participants to the power generation industry, Transcorp’s vision and values, health and safety standards, soft skills, financial discipline, and professional business communication. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, provided they achieve at least 70% attendance during the training sessions.
Phase 2 is the Plant-Based Rotational Program, providing hands-on experience across different technical departments. Participants who complete Phase 1, pass an aptitude test, and submit an interest form will be selected for Phase 2. Phase 2 will run from March to December 2026.
Phase 2 offers a plant-based rotational program with four technical department rotations, a one-month capstone project to solve real operational challenges, and a one-week power plant exchange for cross-site exposure.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and undergo a Performance Review for potential permanent employment within Transcorp Power businesses.
A First degree in relevant engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, or related fields with a minimum of Second Class Lower (Bachelor’s) or Lower Credit (HND).
