Transcorp Hotels Plc, last week Thursday, celebrated a landmark moment and a giant leap towards final completion of the proposed five star, Transcorp Hilton Ikoyi Hotel to be located on Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The audacious project required more land in order to construct the “Twin Tower”, multi-use structure that will feature the hotel as well as office space.
“Expanding the size of the project was a decision we arrived at roughly five years ago. The challenges we faced seemed insurmountable at one point but that’s just who we are as a conglomerate. We are not the type to shy away from what may seem impossible to most.” Stated MD/CEO, Transcorp Hotels Plc, Valentine Ozigbo. He went on to thank the president and guests of IOD (Institute of Directors), the landowners, for their patience, and professionalism in bringing the transaction between the two entities to a mutually beneficial conclusion.
